Tracey Ryder is a food and wine writer, cook, gardener and co-founder of Edible Communities, Inc. — a network of over 65 regional food magazines across the US and Canada.
Tracey holds degrees in graphic design, journalism and psychology. In 1988, she completed the professional chefs training program at the Epicurean Cooking School in Los Angeles.
Her first book "Edible: A Celebration of Local Food," was published in April 2010, by John Wiley & Sons. Tracey and her partner, Carole Topalian, just completed working on four community-specific cookbooks which will be published by Sterling Epicure from the fall of 2011 thru the spring of 2013 (Edible Brooklyn, Edible Seattle, Edible Dallas & Ft. Worth and Edible Twin Cities cookbooks).
